Person oder homo oeconomicus? Zum Menschenbild der Bildungsreformen und ihren Hintergründen

Zusammenfassung. Die Bildungsreformen im Gefolge von PISA und Bologna tendieren zu einem ökonomistischen Menschenbild, das den Menschen auf seine Funktion reduziert. In dieser Sicht gilt der Mensch als steuerbar, Bildung wird zur Anpassung an gegebene Verhältnisse. Der Beitrag untersucht auf der Grundlage eines personalen Bildungsverständnisses die Herkunft dieses Menschenbildes und fragt nach dessen Auswirkungen und Hintergründen. Abstract. The educational reforms which have taken place in the wake of PISA and Bologna tend to be oriented on an economically based view of mankind, which reduces the human being to the question of his or her economic function. In this view, human beings are seen as controllable, and education becomes a means of adapting young people to fit given circumstances. This article uses a person-centered understanding of education to examine the origin of this view of human beings and to question its background and implications.
