Hochschule im Sinne der Waldorfpädagogik. Überlegungen zur Konzeption der Lehrer- und Hochschulbildung bei Rudolf Steiner
Abstract
In addition to focusing on the school and school age development, Waldorf Pedagogy has also been applied in other pedagogical, social and therapeutic contexts and also with different age groups. This raises the question of the relevance of Waldorf pedagogy in a college setting and in particular in a teacher training context. In this regard, an important question relates to the role of Anthroposophy as an instrument for professional empowerment and as an essential element in the management and organization of the Waldorf schools. This paper first examines the founding principles of Waldorf pedagogy. Subsequently, the purpose of a Waldorf pedagogical college is considered against the backdrop of the first teacher´s conference that Rudolf Steiner himself formed. The results of these observations will be discussed in relation to the current Waldorf teacher training in a college context.Downloads
